The European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) invited to the 9th edition of the popular Aftermarket Conference which took place in Brussels on 22nd of March 2018. This year’s topic was “Disruptive Trends in the Aftermarket”.
The conference offered an excellent networking platform for 300 representatives from the international aftermarket industry to learn and exchange views and visions of market trends and technological developments which will influence their business in the future.
The audience consisted of representatives from the European Commission and Parliament, other associations, automotive suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, wholesale distribution, trading groups and press.
We are glad, that we had the possibility to be on stage and present our market place. Our Managing Director Alexander Haid held a keynote address about how to handle the current trends and challenges in the aftermarket by onboarding to our platform.
The presentation can be downloaded here.
In further presentations and keynotes from established and new players (including Bosch, CAAROBI, Daimler, Frost & Sullivan, GKN and QVARTZ and others), new technologies for vehicles and parts production, the change of vehicle ownership and upcoming new business models were identified as the main drivers for the transformation within the automotive industry.
It was great to present the progress we’ve made so far and exchange with the relevant players in the automotive industry and the aftermarket supply chain!
