Our Head of Marketing, Christian Müller, joined the kick-off event of the Student2Start-up project at RWTH Aachen University last night

He will be a mentor for the participating students as well as one of the start-ups. A total of six start-ups pitched their business & questions to the student audience & the mentors including professionals from DAX company Covestro, TÜV Nord Group & DRF Luftrettung.

Chris’ choice fell on Camboo which was founded at Aachen University and deals with the question of how bamboo can be used sustainably. The sustainable use of the raw material bamboo is made possible by a patented test procedure that tests its strength and thus enables the raw material to be further processed with consistent quality. Camboo is currently producing bamboo frames for bicycles, rollators, strollers & want’s to expand his portfolio into the automotive industry.

We are really looking forward supporting camboo in developing their company & are happy to share our practical know-how with the motivated students. Thanks again to Wissensfabrik for the great organisation & hospitality!
