How could industry players turn in-vehicle data into valuable products and services? For the second time, the international Handelsblatt Conference “Monetizing Car Data” was held in Munich from February 5-6. Compared to the first edition of the event last year you could truly see the ongoing evolution of the mobility data market.
Participants were able to experience Caruso first-hand at our booth and check out the latest version of our marketplace which we just released end of January. This ugrade is more user-friendly and intuitive and includes BMW new data items such as DTC and additional “car service status” information.
The first day started with a welcome address presented by Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren, Head of the Institute for Information, Telecommunication and Media Law at the University of Münster. Following keynotes were given by experts from BMW, HERE Technologies and Daimler AG. Next on stage was our Managing Director Alexander presenting the efficient access to multi-brand in-vehicle data via our marketplace. It was exceptional seeing so many vehicle manufactures on stage! Audi gave an overview of new business in smart cities later on.
Through discussions with many partners inside and outside the event, we got the confirmation that Caruso is a key piece securing future access to in-vehicle data independent of technology.
We are very pleased that we had the opportunity to present our marketplace on stage & are looking forward to happily join future Handelsblatt events. Thanks for the great hospitality to the whole Euroforum team!
