Customers onboard their fleet completely hardware free in a few minutes without any OBD donge and no installation. They receive a GoBD/BMF-compliant digital logbook, TCO reporting, damage management, and charging/billing management. The entire system is on DSGVO-compliant EU hosting.

Fleet operators at SMEs and mid-market companies are stuck with manual, fragmented, compliance-heavy fleet administration. Without any hardware there’s no real-time view of their vehicles possible, and with hardware, it’s expensive and slow to roll out. Logbooks live in paper or Excel, odometer readings are collected by hand, real total cost of ownership is opaque, and statutory inspection and deadlines are easy to miss. There is no single source of truth for the fleet. All of this is now solved by the smartmove solution together with CARUSO as one of smartmoves data providers.

Classic telematics only works if you put an OBD dongle or IoT unit into every single vehicle. That gets expensive fast, it takes time, and the bigger the fleet, the more painful the rollout becomes. For a company with cars spread across different locations, it’s simply not practical.
